UB inks MOU with Tagbilaran City government

A close partnership to enhance mutual learning, research and innovations between the University of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran has been sealed with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by UB President Nuevas T. Montes and Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell ("Baba") Yap on June 25, 2014 at the office of the university president.

The three-year undertaking which will take effect on July 1, 2014 enables both parties to share human resources and facilitiesto help each other improve learning in Criminology and Criminal Justice Education and Local Governance and other areas which are both beneficial to the university and the city. These include collaboration in research and other innovation in the academe and in the local governance

Stakeholders affirm UB strategy and curricular map

The University of Bohol organized a Strategy and Curricular Map Public Presentation on July 9, 2014 at UB Information Resource Center. There were 30 representatives from the alumni, business sector, government agencies, parents who critiqued the newly approved University Roadmap and Curricular Map of the College of Business and Accountancy, Teachers College and the College of Arts and Sciences.
