In a bid to enhance academic cooperation among Southeast Asian nations, the University of Bohol through its President Lawyer Nuevas T. Montes formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chonprathanwittaya School of Nontaburi, Thailand represented by its School Manager Mr. Lersak Rewtarkulpaiboon in October26, 2017 at the UB Information Resource Center.
UB braces K to 12, trains faculty, upgrades curricula

Leaving no stone unturned, on its academic preparation for the K to 12 program, the University of Bohol has finished in re-tooling its teachers and in curriculum alignment to ensure smooth implementation of the flagship program of the Department of Education starting June 2016.
As early as 2014, the school administration started seriously the preparation of its academic requirments, including its physical plant, laboratories and equipment.

Lawyer Nuevas Tirol-Montes officially assumed office as fourth president of the University of Bohol effective September 27, 2014. The announcement was made immediately after the members of the Board of Trustees for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 unanimously approved her appointment.
