UB's MA Programs Clinch PACUCOA Accreditation

The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation, Inc. (PACUCOA) has formally given Level I accreditation to the Master of Arts programs of the University of Bohol (UB) for a three-year period effective August 2018 to August 2021.
In an official communication sent by the PACUCOA Board of Directors through its chairman Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo, Jr. to UB President Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol, III, the board confirmed that the following UB programs namely, Master of Arts in Educational Management, English, Guidance and Counselling, History and Psychology; Master of Arts in Teaching Filipino, Mathematics, Physical Education and Social Sciences; Master in Public Administration; and Master of Science in Business Administration were all granted Level I accredited status for three years.

A group of eight Education students and two professors from CK Team for Early Literacy Education of Hoseo University in South Korea recently sat down with the University of Bohol (UB) President Dr. Ryan Tirol, Dean Carolina Belarmino of the Teacher's College, Grade School Principal Jean Efieda Cirunay and Ms. Jelinda Fortich, Program Chair for Elementary Education. The parties agreed to cooperate and exchange services for early literacy education based on Korean culture.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed to facilitate further discussion and deliberation on the exchange of students and faculty,
