UB Grad School, CESO launch barangay project

The University of Bohol - Graduate School (GS) and the Community Extension Service Office, formally launched the first Adopt A Barangay Project with officials of Barangay Concepcion, Loay, Bohol last March 16, 2019.

Dr. Buenaventurada D. Libot, GS Dean, bared that with the formal signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last February 25, 2019, the Graduate School will conduct a series of activities in line with the capacity building program of the department. The primary objective is to strengthen the knowledge of the Barangay Council in the preparation of barangay resolutions and other pertinent documents. The participants include barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials.

The said community extension activity is under the auspices of the programs of Master in Public Administration and Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration with Dr. Glicerio P. Doloritos, as the focal person with the help of the UB MPA students and the faculty, staff and Supreme Students’ Government of the UB Graduate School.

UB PHD & MPA students and faculty facilitated a Capacity Building Program to strengthen the knowledge of BLGU in constructing and preparing Barangay resolutions and other pertinent documents.
