Barangay Tiptip is one of the 15 barangays in Tagbilaran. It is located 5.2 kilometers away from the University of Bohol and is a contiguous barangay of Manga. It has a total population of 4,882. There are six sitios in Barangay Tip – tip; Sitio Casa, Sitio Cob – Cob, Sitio Pasan, Sitio Bunos, Sitio Aghuban and Sitio Elley Hill.

The adoption of Barangay Tip-tip aimed to share UB’s resources and expertise through close partnership in the field of Criminology and local government to enhance mutual learning, social awareness and development with the end in view of providing the needed skills to the Barangay constituents through the conduct of training and seminars. Activities include crime prevention seminar, disarming and arnis training for barangay tanods, and youth volunteers.
