UB College of Nursing Holds Face-to-Face Capping Ceremony

After two years of pandemic restriction, the University of Bohol College of Nursing (CON) had successfully conducted in-person or face-to-face 44th and 45th Capping, Badge Investiture, and Candle Lighting Ceremony to its level 3 and level 2 students, respectively, last March 29, 2022, at the school gymnasium.

candidates were graced by UB President, Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol, III, who officially recognized them as level 2 and level 3 students and delivered an inspirational message to all the participants.

The ceremony is significant among nursing students. It officially embraced them to the nursing profession, vis-à-vis vested upon them the solemn vow of their readiness to serve society as healthcare professionals.

Prof. Lalaine Lao-Domapias, Dean of the College of Nursing, disclosed that a total of one hundred and four (104) Level 3 students and one hundred and thirty-one (131) Level 2 students took part in the two separate face-to-face investitures and ceremonies which were held in the morning and consequently in the afternoon.

The College of Nursing and other related medical courses in the university are presently implementing limited Face-to-Face classes.
