UBians place 3rd in nat'l youth video tilt

Claire Michelle Pusta and Jundelle Arcoyo, Grade 12 students of the University of Bohol - Victoriano D. Tirol Advanced Learning Center (UB-VDTALC), emerged as 2nd runner-up during the GLIMPSE Video Competition of the 17th National Youth Congress (NYC 17)

The two UB VDTALC senior high school students impressed the judges with their entry titled "Behold Bohol." Pusta and Arcoyo's video sought to debunk the misconception that Bohol's tourism sector can longer recover because of the current pandemic.

The National Youth Congress is an annual convention that aims to provide high school students with an engaging introduction to economics and show the power of economic analysis in clarifying relevant issues in our society. This year's congress, which saw 45 participating schools, was held virtually due to the pandemic.
