LOUD AND PROUD: SUPPORT FOR UB FLYING LEMURS RESONATES DURING PEP-RALLY

The University of Bohol (UB) Flying Lemurs in coordination with the Athletics Office, Athletic Scholars Organization (AthSO) and the Student Affairs Office conducted the first-ever Pep-Rally aiming to bring oneness and school pride as they sent the varsity teams of the university to the semifinal rounds of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association tournament.

The UB Gymnasium was filled with loud and proud cheers from the supporters as the members of each team were introduced during the lunchtime cool vibes event attended mostly by PE students and random spectators.

Hosted by Dr. Lemuel O. Belarmino and Ms. Mae Shiela Lastomen, the crown erupted every time they were asked to jam with the official cheer of the university. Students also had fun with the prepared intermission numbers and the impromptu cheer and dance competition, which featured prizes such as T-shirts, tumblers, and official varsity jackets.

With this year’s Flying Lemurs’ slogan of “Unlimited Braveness,” the first-ever Pep-Rally was a one of a kind short blitz activity that united the supporters of the varsity players and the school.
