The University of Bohol (UB) - Gymnasium was filled with students during the Welcome Program and General Assembly for the Second Semester of School Year 2019-2020 last November 18, 2019.

During the event, UB Supreme Student Government (UBSSG) Vice President Jean Kathleen Gran welcomed the students while UBSSG President, Samantha Lorraine Salaysay thanked the students for a very successful and fulfilling First Semester. As a sign of transparency, the student government also presented their Financial Statement through UBSSG treasurer, Eden Mae Tamsi, and teased the students with the upcoming activities for the coming months.

The gathering was attended by senior high school and college students of the university together with the different department Deans and the three UB Vice Presidents. UB President Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol, III, gave a fitting inspirational message to highlight the semestral assembly while Dr. Lemuel O. Belarmino delivered updates regarding new school policies and announcements.

The Welcome Program and General Assembly is a bi-annual activity wherein the university and the student government formally welcome students for the current semester. It is also a venue for students to know important information needed for their stay in the vibrant community of the University of Bohol.
