UB pays tribute to graduating stude leaders

In recognition of its graduating student leaders, the University of Bohol (UB) feted the said students last October 22, 2019, at the UB - Information Resource Center.

The activity was organized by the UB Supreme Student Government (UBSSG) national officers led by UBSSG President Samantha Loraine R. Salaysay. It aimed to acknowledge and give appreciation to the student leaders for their contributions and efforts in the service of their fellow UBians.

To kick things off, Salaysay welcomed everyone present during the whole activity. Then, UB President Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol III gave an inspirational message where he expressed admiration to the students who served the institution. He pointed out that the students will not only end a chapter of their life but will also lead to an exciting journey ahead. Afterward, speeches of Jan Fe Lanzaderas, a graduating student leader, and Casianito Rebuca, a parent followed.

The awarding of the student leaders followed led by the Head of the Student Affairs Office, Dr. Lemuel O. Belarmino, and the Dean of the Student Personnel Services, Dr. Janice Aurora T. Namoc who expressed their gratitude to the student leaders and reminded them that they will always be UBians.

The graduating student leaders served as an inspiration to their fellow students and leaders. They proved that they could serve their fellow UBians while being students at the same time.
