UB NSTP-CWTS studes go mangrove planting

Faculty and students of the University of Bohol National Service Training Program-Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS) recently planted mangroves in shores of Guiwanon, Maribojoc, Bohol last October 5, 2019.

The group was joined by representatives from the Local Government Unit of Maribojoc who briefed and oriented the UB contingent before the start of the activity.

Mangrove planting is one of the activities that the NSTP-CWTS office has undertaken to help in promoting awareness of the ecosystem. It nurtures marine life by providing new sanctuaries to fishes and other crustaceans.
