UB Multimedia and Arts Club holds Photography 101 workshop

The University of Bohol (UB) Multimedia and Arts Club kicked-off off July by holding a whole-day “Photography 101 Worskhop” last July 13, 2019, at the UB – Information Resource Center.

The workshop which drew over 20 participants from the different colleges of UB featured Noel San Andres, an eminent photographer for the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and Sherwin Sapong, a well-known Boholano photojournalist as resource persons.

The participants were all very attentive and curious during the event in the hope of gaining more knowledge on the basic concepts and technical know-how of photography.

The UB Multimedia and Arts Club is a new Campus Student Organization (CSO) that was formed to cater to UBians inclined to various disciplines of arts. The club aims to enhance and showcase the talents and skills of the students in photography, film-making, video editing, performing arts, literary arts, and creative writing, music and fine arts.

The Photography 101 workshop is the first of the scheduled workshops and art events that the club will facilitate within the school year as club members are preparing to hold one art event per month for the academic year 2019-2020.
