Junior High Student Leaders join TRAIL Camp

The University of Bohol - University High School Supreme Student Government (SSG) Governor Athena Ampong, student leader Aaliyah Grace Filomeno, together with the SSG adviser Ms. Cherry Lynn Roloyan attended the Seventh Philippines Transformative Approaches to Innovative Leadership Summer Camp or TRAIL CAMP last April 24-28, 2019 at the Bohol Plaza Resort in Dauis, Bohol.

The said camp aimed to equip the participating youth and adult leaders with the right skills and values to make their leadership more meaningful and dynamic using transformative approaches. Organizers also endeavored to raise the awareness, interest, and desire of the participants to become Transformational Leaders.

Aspiring youth and adult leaders from all over the country experienced the back-to-basic TRAIL Camp which brings them to different learning environments with various indoor and outdoor exercises such as solidarity dances, learning convergences, reflection pathways, Tribu Saulog Challenge and more.

The hopeful leaders were trained to exhibit the roles of being a vision enabler, system designer, peoples’ weaver and active catalyst of the society.

At the end of the camp, each of the successful completers were recognized as “Trailers” and were given a lifetime membership number.
