UB Junior High welcomes school year 2019-2020

The University of Bohol – University High School (UB-UHS) welcomed another school year through its annual First Day High celebration held at the UB Gymnasium last June 17, 2019.

The student-hosted event served as a formal welcome for the first year and transferee students as well as a general orientation for all students on the do’s and dont’s in the UHS and what they could expect for the new school year. Principal Grace G. Filomeno led UHS staff and personnel in warmly welcoming the newcomers to the university and the resident students back to the fold for another school year.

Engr. Lemuel O. Belarmino, Head of the Student Affairs Office, also discussed essential topics in his message to the students which enlightened them on the school in general and the student services they can expect from the university. Not to be outdone, the Junior High teaching force performed a presentation showcasing the talents of the resident teachers as well as the new mentors.

All in all, the event was an excellent start to the new school year, which portends of better things to come for the whole Junior High this S.Y. 2019-2020.
