Just a little over a month since its last visit, the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) has again visited the University of Bohol. This time, the PAASCU accreditors scrutinized the College of Criminal Justice (CCJ), College of Nursing (CON) and College of Hospitality Management, Tourism and Nutrition (CHMTN) for Level 1 accreditation.

Eight PAASCU accreditors conducted a simultaneous evaluation of the three departments last October 11-12, 2018, to determine whether the institution has met the quality standards set by the accrediting body. The team was chaired by Dr. Delailah Valencia with members Dr. Naomi De Aro, Dr. Tessie Da Jose, Dr. Cristina Caluza, Mr. Angelo Marco Lacson, Ms. Gilda Octavo, Dr. Rhem Rick Corpuz and Ms. Gemma Chua.

Presently, four college programs of the university namely, Business Administration, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and Liberal Arts are PAASCU Level III accredited. In addition, five Master’s Degree programs of the Graduate School obtained PACUCOA Level 1 accreditation. These are the Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Science in Business Administration, and Master in Public Administration programs.
