UB Welcomes PAASCU Evaluators

Another batch of accreditors from the Philippine Association of Accrediting Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) recently visited the University of Bohol (UB) to conduct a series of accreditations and consultations for its pre-college programs.

On August 2-3, 2018, a PAASCU team conducted the evaluation for the Level 1 accreditation of the University of Bohol Victoriano B. Tirol Advanced Learning Center (VDTALC). The team was composed of Ms. Ana Maria Hernandez, Mr. Rodelio Santos, Mr. Ringo Blanca, Ms. Maria Victoria de la Cruz, Dr. Vicente Araneta, Mr. Alex Gesmundo, Dr. Jocelyn Tan and Fr. Cesar Manlosa, Jr. SDB.

The UB Grade School meanwhile, underwent a consultation on August 6, 2018, with the team of Mr. Marc Hernandez and Ms. Eufemia Gomo in preparation for its upcoming accreditation next year.

Finally, on August 28, 2018, the UB Junior High School had a consultation with the team composed of Dr. Maximo Muldong and Dr. Henry Davalos in view of its formal application for accreditation.

Furthermore, three college departments of the university, namely the College of Nursing, College of Criminal Justice and College of Hospitality, Restaurant Management and Tourism-Nutrition and Dietetics are scheduled for another PAASCU visit this coming October for their Level 1 accreditation. - (labboncales/elsales)
