A total of two University of Bohol Rockets Swimming Team members posted individual records in two separate swimming competitions held outside the country and in the province of Bohol.

Rian Marco Adiong Tirol , former UB Rockets Swimming Team Captain and presently a Grade 12 student of the Ateneo de Manila University landed 5th in the 200m breast stroke and 6th in the 50m and 100m breast stroke during the 10th ASEAN School Games held on July 20-17, 2018 at Sha Alam Malaysia.

Per rule adopted by the Philippine committee for the ASEAN league, only the top two athletes of the individual events in the Palarong Pambansa qualify to compete for the ASEAN games. Of the two Philippine swimmers who vied for the 50, 100 and 200m breast stroke, only Tirol landed in the top ten slots.

Meanwhile, his younger brother Victoriano Martin Adiong Tirol IV, a Grade 7 pupil of the Victoriano D. The swimfest which drew swimmers from Bohol, Bukidnon, Cebu, and Leyte was part of the annual Sandugo Festival celebration of the province.
