Judge Vitudazo swears UB/RPCAAI officers, calls for social relevance

Presiding Judge Sisinio C. Virtudazo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 4-Bohol, sworn into office the newly elected officers of the University of Bohol/Rafael Palma College Alumni Association, Incorporated (UB/RPCAAI) in a ceremony held last August 31, 2016 at Jj’s Seafoods Village, K of C Drive, Tagbilaran City.

The new alumni officers for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 are Mr. Frederick B. Namoc –president, Col. Cesar J. Pamaong – vice president, Dr. Nilda A. Echavez – secretary, Mrs. Siarol A. Divinio- assistant secretary, Dr. Ma. Melzara V. Cuevas- treasurer, Dr. Jerome M. Magallen – auditor and Mr. Leo Armando B. Boncales – press relations officer.

In his speech, Judge Virtudazo lauded the officers for having been chosen to lead the alumni association. He stressed the importance of a working relation between alumni and the school administration to fast track developments which are beneficial to the members. This to include alumni tracking , recognition of outstanding alumni, scholarship programs and other civic and charitable undertakings. As an alumnus, Judge Virtudazo likewise emphasized the need for the organization to be socially relevant to add more meaning to its existence. He reminded the association on its corporate social responsibility and the alumni to live with the trinity of virtues of the Alma Mater – scholarship, character and service.
