UB president leads crime prevention awareness campaign

Lawyer Nuevas T. Montes, University of Bohol President, personally led the campaign on crime prevention awareness in a fitting ceremony held on July 26, 2016 at the UB Senior High Activity Area , UB main campus.

Speaking before the senior high school students, the lady president highlighted the Commission on Higher Education Memorandum No. 42, series of 2005, mandating all colleges and universities to create a student crime prevention council. As the school’s anti crime council was formally organized , Atty. The university president likewise directed Dean Jesus Acullador of the College of Criminology to supervise and monitor the council.

The UB Student Crime Prevention Council is composed of Mr. Sharazil Mabanag, chairman, Miss Airam Padayhag, vice chairman and members Edrick Sibaya, Judy Acog, Ariel Bendoy, Michael Barbarona, Ruth Silagan, Zephany Fucanan, Mark Sumampong, John Ladura, Christine Ortega and Michelle Perez.
