Fresh from the feat of Paul Emerson Almontero, a fourth year BEED student of Teachers College as Jose Rizal Model Student of the Year, the University of Bohol again bagged honors when Gwendolyn Ayuban an accountancy student from the College of Business and Accountancy is among the top four regional finalists in the search for Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) 2014.

Dr. Janice Aurora B. Tirol, dean of Student and Personnel Services disclosed that Ayuban is automatically a national finalist for the TOSP 2014. In the regional search both Ayuban and Almontero have qualified . However only the top four regional finalists will be nominated for the national search. From among the schools in the province of Bohol, only UB has qualified in the regional and national TOSP 2014 search, Dr. Tirol added.

It may be recalled that Ann Crusit, a student of the Teachers College received the prestigious Ten Outstanding Student of the Philippines national award in 2010.
