UB Opens its Doors for Immersion of Korean Students

A group of eight Education students and two professors from CK Team for Early Literacy Education of Hoseo University in South Korea recently sat down with the University of Bohol (UB) President Dr. Ryan Tirol, Dean Carolina Belarmino of the Teacher's College, Grade School Principal Jean Efieda Cirunay and Ms. Jelinda Fortich, Program Chair for Elementary Education. The parties agreed to cooperate and exchange services for early literacy education based on Korean culture.

UB's Criminal Justice inks MOAs with PAO and Bohol Gun Club

The University of Bohol (UB) - College of Criminal Justice made history by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Public Attorney's Office (PAO). The said MOA intends for UB's Criminal Justice students to become well-acquainted with prosecution and court proceedings. Such experience and familiarity with the country's justice system are vital for the students as they continue on their journey towards becoming full-fledged law enforcers.

In a related development, another MOA was signed between the college and the Boholano Licensed Firearm Association, Inc. for exclusive marksmanship and combat training at the Bohol Gun Club firing range. This MOA aims to develop the marksmanship and combat skills of the prospective law enforcers in preparation for conflicts and situations that may arise.

UB Grand HIMAMAT for the First Semester of SY: 2018-2019

The University of Bohol Students Affairs Office (SAO) with the support of the UB Supreme Student Government (UBSSG) officially welcomed first-year and transferee students for the first semester of the School Year 2018-2019 as part of the big UBian family during the Grand HIMAMAT 2018 held last June 18, 2018. The Himamat 2018 is designed to orient new UBians with the University’s existing policies, guidelines, and services to empower them to break boundaries and thrive academically in our vibrant, student-friendly campus.
