UB Crim Justice, Bohol Prov’l Police seal faculty immersion MOA

The University of Bohol - College of Criminal Justice (UB-CCJ) and the Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) have formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) related to the University Faculty Immersion Program of the college.

UB President Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol, III, and Provincial Director P/Col Julius Cesar U. Gornez signed the agreement last June 13, 2019, at the UB President’s Office. Under the MOA, the university will send Criminal Justice faculty members to undergo immersion in the Provincial Police Office. This setup will provide the faculty with the required and necessary practical experience in law enforcement duties and function in the different areas of police work. Concerned faculty members will also be exposed to actual work during the period of immersion and oriented to the standard operating procedure of the agency.

This latest MOA between the two parties continues the longstanding support of the Bohol Provincial Police Office to the CCJ headed by Dean Shirley O. Molina.
