UB Rockets Tankers Bag Medals in 2018 Milo Little Olympics

Five swimmers of the University of Bohol Rockets Swimming team successfully made it to the victory podium after collecting multiple medals and awards in the Milo Little Olympics-2018, held on August 30 to September 2, 2018, at the Cebu City Sports Center.

Leading the pack was Jovy Claire B. Jaspe (elementary-girls) with three silver medals in the 50m butterfly, 100m butterfly, and 50m freestyle, and bronze medals in the 200m individual medley, 50m backstroke and 4x50m freestyle relay.

Other swimmers with medals and awards included Justie Athena B. Jaspe (elementary-girls)– bronze medal in the 4x50m freestyle relay, Ayeisa Ysabelle R. Marquez (elementary-girls)– bronze medal in the 4x50m freestyle relay, Zoey Kiani L. Voisin (elementary-girls)–bronze medal in the 4x50m freestyle relay, and Victoriano Martin A. Tirol, IV (secondary–boys) 5th placer in the 100m breaststroke.

Also participating during the Milo Olympics were Ocean Inaki L. Voisin, Zachary Lex B. Castro, Jummel Niño B. Jaspe, Zoe P. Austral, Sophia C. Epe, Ashely Gwenevere I. Hutchinson, and Andrea Marie Pagay.

The team was under the stewardship of Team Manager and UB President Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol, III, Coach Robert L. Taguisa and Junrie Cruzo, trainer.
