UBian Crowned Miss Bohol 2018

Of Scholarship, Character, and Service – another UBian made her mark in the annals of pageantry as she was crowned as this year's Miss Bohol. Besting more than 20 other candidates from all over the province, she proved that she had what it took to assume the responsibilities expected of a true beauty queen.

Raclaire Stephan Cesar Trigo, or "Sweetie" as how her family and close friends fondly call her; spent her elementary, junior high, senior high and now her college education at the University of Bohol (UB). She mentioned how the University had tapped and developed her potential to the fullest and considered it as her foundation for what she has achieved now.

She had her first exposure to the world of pageantry in 2015 when she was crowned as Ms. University High School Personality and was named as Ms. University of Bohol Personality in the same year. Three years later, she was proclaimed the winner of Mutya sa San Isidro and represented the barangay in the Mutya sa Tagbilaran pageant in May 2018. She was crowned as Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2018 – the second UBian to win in consecutive years after Bianca Olaso-Gaviola also won the title in 2017.

An extramiler who proved that she had the "tatak UBian value" in her when she tirelessly juggled her studies and training for the Miss Bohol pageant. It was only fitting that last July 21, candidate #9, Raclaire Stephan Trigo of Tagbilaran City was crowned as Miss Bohol 2018.

"I want to bring them the lessons that I've learned throughout the years of achieving my dreams. It may seem so hard in the process, but I believe nothing is impossible as long as you believe in yourself and let God do the rest. According to Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." – Raclaire
