UB's Criminal Justice inks MOAs with PAO and Bohol Gun Club

The University of Bohol (UB) - College of Criminal Justice made history by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Public Attorney's Office (PAO). The said MOA intends for UB's Criminal Justice students to become well-acquainted with prosecution and court proceedings. Such experience and familiarity with the country's justice system are vital for the students as they continue on their journey towards becoming full-fledged law enforcers.

In a related development, another MOA was signed between the college and the Boholano Licensed Firearm Association, Inc. for exclusive marksmanship and combat training at the Bohol Gun Club firing range. This MOA aims to develop the marksmanship and combat skills of the prospective law enforcers in preparation for conflicts and situations that may arise.

UB President Dr. Ryan Tirol, and Atty. Godfrey Tubo, Head of the PAO signed the MOA in behalf of UB and the PAO. Meanwhile, Mr. Samson T. Sia, President - Boholano Licensed Firearm Assn., Inc (GUNCLUB) signed the other MOA with Dr. Tirol. Former Dean Jesus C. Acullador, current Dean Shirley O. Molina, and PSInsp Antonio Samante (ret) witnessed the signing last June 27, 2018, at the UB President’s office.

The internship on prosecution and court proceedings, as well as the free ballistics and marksmanship and combat shooting training for the Criminal Justice students, will commence this school year.
