UB student is 7th placer in Midwifery board exam

The University of Bohol College of Midwifery is again on the limelight when its graduate of the two-year Diploma in Midwifery landed 7th place in the November 2017 Midwifery Board Examination held at Cebu City.

Dean Maria Lourdes B. Lanada of the College of Midwifery disclosed that Milkilee Pernia Bangalao of Cabawan District, Tagbilaran City placed 7th in this year’s licensure examination surpassing its own previous record in 2013 when Cheryl B. Tambis of Manga District got 10th place in the same board examination. Dean Lanada also added that for this year, the college posted a 100% passing mark of its fresh graduates. The successful examinees are Milkilee Pernia Bangalao (7th Place), Mary May Montejo Jamero- West Ubujan, Garcia Hernandez, Bohol and Ricafort Sumodobila Cister – Songculan, Dauis, Bohol.

Presently, the University of Bohol is the only school in the province of Bohol offering BS in Midwifery.
