UB days celebration to showcase Expo Boholano

The week long celebration of UB Days 2016 unfolds new attraction to the students and the viewing public with the holding of Expo Boholano as part of the university days activities from September 13 to15, 2016 at Founders Lounge, UB Main Campus, this city.

Considered as the first of its kind in a university setting, Expo Boholano features the best of Bohol products, from authentic Boholano cuisine and delicacies to famous raffia and loom , native handicrafts and locally produced agricultural products. It is indeed, Bohol industry in a nutshell.

Expected to take part during the fair are Bohol Field Office, Department of Trade and Industry, Bohol Tourism Office, Department of Tourism, Bohol Provincial Agriculturist Office-Department of Agriculture, Committee of Agri/Organic Farming – Bohol Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Painitang Bol-anon/Jojie’s Bakeshop, Tubigon Loom Weavers, Jewelyn Fashion Galleries, Mayor William Jao, the Provincial and City Governments.

Chaired by Dr. Dioscoro Ayag, Jr., with members Engr. Lemuel Belarmino, James Tabigue and student volunteers, the committee envisioned to help promote the local industry by raising awareness among the students. Expo Boholano is open to the general public from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

UB Days 2016 which formally kicked off last September 9, 2016 will end on September 16, 2016.
