UB grad places 9 th in PT/OT licensure examination


Eda Andrea Tango-an Opada, a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Bohol College of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, landed 9 th place in the 2016 Physical Therapist Board Examination with a rating of 88%.

The licensure examination was given by the Professional Regulation Commission Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Cebu City last August 6 & 7, 2016.

Dr. Myrna L. Plateros, MD, college dean, disclosed that in addition to the 9 th place slot, the school also posted a 90% passing rate of its examinees compared to the national passing of 68%. The new physical therapists are Jenny Mae Castro Alas, Dinamae Calamba Apalisok, Genevieve Parmisano Cabahug, Mia Karleen Angalot Gutierrez, Lyka Loraine Ann Gibalay Magdoza, Eda Andrea Tango-an Opada, Joana Mae Manait Rañin, Jon Marck Culajao Santiago, and Jeanis Piquero Tutor.

Opada is the daughter of Mr. Eduardo Opada and Eva Tango-an Opada of Tagbilaran.
